Record Submitter Communications
To ensure clarity and improve efficiencies, Review Engineers should record any communications they receive from a submitter outside of the workflow after they have contacted that submitter in regards to a request. Note that when conducting the SPS Recommendation, the SPS Secretary will also record any communications they receive from a submitter outside of the workflow after they have contacted that submitter.
To find tasks for which a submitter contact response should be recorded, search the My Tasks table.

Once the user clicks on the relevant inbox entry, they will enter the task form:

As indicated by the application prompt circled in the image above, the next step is to post the submitter’s contact response in the Internal Discussion section on the left (highlighted area).
The user will conclude the process by selecting the button.
