Agency Representative Tasks
This section describes how agency submitters / representatives will conduct work within EL-CID Online.
All certification requests in EL-CID Online are initially submitted to NTIA by representatives of federal agencies. For detailed instructions on how to initiate a certification request, see Initiating a Certification Request.

The EL-CID Online workflow also allows agency representatives to provide comments on certification requests and view active request details.
View and post communications
In addition to emails they may receive from NTIA officials, submitters can view comments posted within the workflow. Submitters can also post comments, and add attachments.
To view comments for a specific request, complete the following steps. Once the submitter logs in, they can select a task to view from the My Tasks table.

The Internal Discussion section is located on the left side, under the tab. From the task form screen shown above, users may post comments in the comment box. To add attachments, select the link to open the documents page in a separate browser tab.
From the documents page, select the Upload File button to add attachments.
View request details for active requests
To access request details for a request that is actively being processed but does not require current action on the part of the submitter, click on request titles within the Active Requests table:

If the Upload File button is unresponsive, you will need to make sure your browser is not blocking pop-ups. After you have enabled pop-ups, you will need to select the Upload File button again.
